About MGGA

The Montana Grain Growers Association is a commodity specific organization representing the interests of Montana wheat and barley growers. We use the contacts and experience gained over the past 60+ years to affect the laws, regulations and rules that we farm by. We are recognized as an influential commodity organization in our state and country and we use that influence to make things happen.

MGGA is incorporated as a non-profit, non-partisan agricultural commodity association established as an advocate of the best interests of Montana grain producers.

The National Association of Wheat Growers is the primary representative in Washington D.C. for wheat producers, working to ensure a better future for America’s growers, the industry and the general public. MGGA is one of 22 states that belong to NAWG.
NBGA works closely with federal policymakers, congressional offices, and regulatory agencies to ensure the concerns and priorities of barley producers in the United States are considered and represented. MGGA is one of 8 states that belong to NBGA.
